Veery

I saw many migrating Thrushes over the weekend....Swainsons and Gray-Cheeked, as well as Veerys. I have finally learned to ID them They are plain birds, but they have sweet songs.

Beautiful shot of this veery - I have heard the name, but don't think I've seen one - really nice detail - I could easily identify one from your picture I think.

@milaniet Thanks for your comment. The Veery has a noticeable reddish-brown cast to its back, a plain face, and very little spotting on the breast.
