Who comes up with these names? Penstemon digitalis, the fourth flower to bloom in my native plant garden. Behind it the prairie phlox is still in bloom, and the columbine is still in bloom also. Since I just planted them last year, this is the first time they will all bloom. It's very exciting to watch. This plant is quite tall.
