Saw a couple of migrating White-throated Sparrows under my bird feeder today. They look plain from a distance like many birds, but up close they are quite pretty.
I learned something new. didn't know here are so many different sparrows from ours. had to google and was amazing with the variety of sparrows. ours look rather plain in comparison. fav.
I don't catch them very often, but have seen them here on occasion. They have the prettiest markings. It's really thanks to your bird knowledge that I've learned so much and learned what to look for. This picture really shows their details so nicely. Love the lighting and brightness of the colors. Fav
