Found my first of the season Trillium yesterday. I went back to get more photos today but it was gone, no doubt eaten by the (too) many deer who live in the preserve. They really are a problem regarding the native wildflowers & other plants.
A beautiful trilium shot. I am surprised to hear about the deer. My mother has a patch of these in her garden (and 35 acres of land), but they never even get nibbled.
