Human footprints...

In a 5 km circuit, in the middle of nature, which is not very frequented by walkers, I found 6 "things" similar to this one. We cannot do this. A mask takes hundreds of years to degrade and leaves different residues in nature. Please keep your mask safe in your pocket.
Unfortunately your photo shows that we certainly can do this. It really is outrageous how many of these are floating around. We are going to have to change the meaning of 'human'.

@monikozi True, I haven't used the expression "human" for a long time in the sense of "good" "goodness". We have the capacity to be, but we are not and we do not want to assume it!

A picture is worth a thousand words

Oh, how sad can that be! I also avoid using 'human' to describe goodness. As I also avoid using 'animal' as negative. I noticed that when either of these terms comes to the tip of my tongue, I hesitate and think twice. And most often I prefer to replace them.

@mirroroflife Yes, true! And we are an opportunity to talk with a photo.

@monikozi Exactly what happens to me..., and when I hear expressions like, " this is bad, very inhuman " I say right away..., no no " it's human " !

Yeah. I think there will always be those who won't pick up their trash.

This pandemic filled the earth with these "Things", In NZ, there is a manufacturer recycle them and make garden poles. That is encouraging.

Sadly it's a sign of the current times.

@yaorenliu This is fantastic. He still didn't know about masks recycling projects. Worldwide, 3 million masks are discarded per minute.
