Today I stepped away from the auto and played with some manual settings. The colors were a little washed out so I tried my hand at Photoshop. I like it but I continue to have difficulty with unintentional blurring no matter how hard I try not to move my camera. Any suggestions?
Great shot. Macro photography is very difficult without a tripod. It helps if you can find something to stabilize the camera on. On low flowers I usually lay on the ground if I don't have my tripod. Even the slightest wind will throw off your focus.
@lstasel Thank you for your suggestion, Laura. When I try to use a tripod, the camera shakes a little after I press the button. Do you use the timer when you use the tripod? Also, my tripod is of the type with the legs that wrap around objects so the tripod could be used on, for example, a park bench and twist the legs around the back of the bench. I am wondering is this type of tripod, while convenient, is contributing to "bouncing." Do you think that the tripods with the stiff legs would have less "bounce." Thank you for your help!
