I've been posting some photos over the last few weeks taken at an interesting town near where I live, Nyack, New York. Here is another. I didn't know what this thing was at first but now I see that it's a bird house. The bird is supposed to go in the cat's mouth. Well, that's not very nice, is it?
@amandal I know! I couldn't figure out what it was. What's even more mean is that it's on a tree stump, real close to the ground! Hope the little birds don't get caught!
What a fun shot. I wonder if a bird lives in there and how does he know that it isn't a real cat's mouth. Hope he doesn't make a mistake one day. Uh oh!
@onewing It does look like a bird is living in there--lots of straw and stuff coming out of the cat's mouth. What am I saying? I just can't understand why someone would put a bird house on top of a tree stump. Shouldn't it be in a tree where the kitties can't get at it.
