The start of our vacation. See, now this is what makes us 365ers so special! We just see things differently. This is one of my vacation photos--an airplane window. Beauty in the mundane, right?
I think that, to a photographer, nothing is truly mundane. If it is not beauty that we see, then at least there is something interesting or unusual or different. Now perhaps, the end result might be boring to the viewer who is not a photographer but who cares... We shoot our photos for our own enjoyment and fulfilment. Your window is awesome... Beyond, in that blue, is adventure and magic waiting.
@sharleen Thank you Sharleen! You stated exactly (and I mean EXACTLY) what I was trying to convey with this shot! May I quote you? I want to change the caption and use your words because what you said is the reason that I'm filled with excitement and anticipation whenever I go to the airport. Some people hate the airport; not me, I love wandering around and looking at all of the destinations on the signs by the gates and thinking about the "adventure and magic waiting!"
