We have this beautiful statue of the Virgin Mary on my church grounds. In front of the statue are benches and a gazebo were you can rest and meditate.
I've always called it "The Grotto" because it reminds me of the grotto in the Vatican Gardens where Pope Francis recently prayed the rosary and asked for The Virgin Mary's intercession for an end to the pandemic.
I knew then that whenever I saw this this statue of Blessed Mother that I would always be reminded of the day that I watched the Pope pray the rosary in Italian, not understanding a word, and being so very moved.
