We were up fairly early as the Ocado lorry was due between 0730 hours and 0830 hours. Unfortunately the driver telephoned at 0730 hours to say there had been a problem at the warehouse and the order would be late; no problem, we would be here all day.
Late last night the GOG got up to get some painkillers for his back and discovered that water was leaking from the water tank in the kitchen; temporary repairs were done to stop the water from pouring out all night.
So what have we been doing all day? He has sorted the problem and I was on hand to mop up water, fetch and carry and pick things up when he dropped them. I also removed all the floor tiles; they have to come up soon when the new tiles are laid so that is one less job to do.
The Ocado lorry arrived about 1030 hours and I was finally able to put it all away at 1530 hours when the kitchen resembled something more normal! The chicken is cooking and all that needs to be done today is to post my picture and decide which wine will go best with the roast chicken dinner!
