Oliver came today to help me in the garden with weeding, cutting down some shrubs and general gardening work. We also worked on the rockery by the small pond and hopefully I will soon be able to plant some small spring bulbs as well as some more ground cover plants, which I hope will trail over the edges, forming a ladder, enabling frogs and other creatures easy access to and from the water. Whilst working in the garden I found today’s blip, some green tomatoes.
I am out tonight with some colleague that I worked with before retiring from full-time work. This time we are going to the public house and restaurant in the village so not far to go. I shall still drive, it will be dark when we have finished and although my back had recovered quite well this morning, after gardening for several hours it is now protesting.
