An early trip in to Bishop’s Stortford this morning for a few bits and pieces, we stopped for coffee, but no cake, although my husband devoured a cheese and ham toasted pannine in Sainsbury’s café. The only gluten free items they have in their café are chocolate brownies or cherry Bakewells; neither are very appealing at that time in the morning! Even their hot chocolate has wheat flour in it so as usual it was just coffee for me.
What did I do this afternoon? Not a lot although I did sort out all the bird and cat food, before the new delivery arrives from Amazon next week. I also started preparing shallots for pickling; must be that time of the year again.
