Destructive? Have you seen what humans have done to this planet? They might be seen as destructive but animals create new habitats in order to survive. Starred !!!!!!!!!!!!
@jeanniec57 Well, I've seen 100-year-old oaks girdled by these little critters. That's what prompted my tongue-in-cheek comment. And, obviously, humans are destroyers par excellence. Beavers just do what they're meant to do by virtue of their instinct. Having free will, we don't have that excuse.
@juliedduncan It wasn't a criticism of your comment...I hope it didn't come across that way. I just don't see animals as destructive. And, I agree. Humans have cornered the market on that. And, it's a shame for the old growth trees that they succumb to destruction.
