So I built myself a Gundam robot from a kit. The Bandai Gundam model kits are leaps and bounds better than any plastic model kit I had as a kid. The technology has come a long way. I'm very impressed.
After building the plastic model, I decided I need a display base, so I built this one from scratch. Buying a cheap 5.5 watt laser cutter has been a game changer for model making. Everything you see on that diorama has been either cut or marked with a laser. To give you a sense of scale, that robot is around 5.5 inches tall.
