Virginia Bluebells

Seem to pop up overnight. They’re in a neglected little corner of my yard, so it’s almost a surprise when I see them every spring.
They’re pretty, they look a bit like a jacaranda flower.

Wow, if it’s in the neglected corner I can only imagine the pretty flowers in the rest of your yard. Beautiful with the sunlight on them.

@jb030958 thank you! It’s part of a shade garden I put in many years ago. It’s neglected in the sense that I’m lucky if I can keep up with the weeding, let alone plant any shade loving annual flowers. So I’m grateful for these trusty perennials that come up year after year.
