One Last Burst of Color

The redbud tree off the porch decided to pop out one more burst of pink.

I also have a Judas tree in the garden. It blooms beautifully every spring, also on the trunk as in your photo. A tree with pretty leaves too.

@anniesue @cocobella isn’t it though?! They bloom directly on the branches, see April 20, 2020 of my calendar for a photo. I guess this cluster popped out there because there used to be a branch there.

@jerome I googled Judas tree and they are definitely in the same family. I had never heard of it! This one is called Eastern redbud. It’s native to North America.
