These little treasures once belonged to my mother. Now they sit in a corner cupboard that used to be hers and before that, belonged to her mother. Recently I found a photo from 1981 of my mother and I and decided to tuck it in there. You can see the corner cupboard in the photo. Last year at the beginning of Covid lockdowns, my husband painted it for me, added lighting which finally gave all my little treasures the love and attention they deserved.

@jb030958 The plate is from Denmark. If memory serves me right, I think her sister gave it to my mom after a visit to Germany. And yes, our ancestors did come from Germany, about 200 years ago.
@beckyk365 My mother-in- law came from Germany in the early 1950's . There were many Hummels in her house and some plates similar to the one you have there.
@jb030958 very cool! I bet she was very interesting to talk to. The other plate has a Christmas scene on it and is very sweet. All these years I assumed they were German until I checked earlier today. 🤦🏻♀️
