When I was little there was a gift shop around the corner from my house. Because it was close by I was allowed to go by myself and window shop, which was a Very Big Deal. I adored these angels and after saving my pennies, I would go and pick one out. Eventually I had quite a collection, but these two are all that remain. These days they live on my bookshelf. Coincidentally they’re the birthday months of Al and I.
Those bring back memories for me. Those are the months my sister and I were born and we had those little angels. I don’t know what ever happened to them but I wish I still had them.
