One of the first things Ellie asked was “are we gonna make a pie grandpappy? Al made the dough ahead of time, so the two of them rolled it out and made the apple filling. And then Ellie played with the pie dough scraps like it was Play-Doh, for probably an hour. We ate the pie later that evening when it was cooled down and it was delicious!
