and had a weird experience when we got into a quicksand situation. On the way back as we walked closer to the water’s edge, we started to sink in the wet sand. In a manner of seconds the sand was up over our ankles as we frantically tried to run back to a dry area. Both Tonya and I fell getting ourselves completely soaked. It was quite embarrassing but extremely scary as well.
