After house sitting in Steveston for six weeks I only had one more 'must-do' thing on my list - have a traditional seaside lunch, some chips minus the fish! Tasty!
@kiwichick Hi! If NZ fish and chips are anything like they are in the UK I bet you can't wait! Anyway, I hope you guys are well? Ross and I are back in Vancouver now and I'm finally going to upload some travelling pics to 365 no that I have my precious MacBook (I left mine at home so my sister could bring it out in August!). You'll have to let us know if you are ever in the city and want to hang out :-)
I'll let you know for sure. We had two visits there in the last month, but they were both sports trips with the kids. We stayed in Richmond for one of them, is that near where you were house sitting?? Too funny if it was. I just had a look through your photos. Good to see you've got jobs and a place to live! It looks like you're enjoying Vancouver. Did you see the race this morning?? It was a good one!
@kiwichick That sounds great, it'd be cool to catch up - how funny that you've recently been to Richmond, we were based in Steveston for six weeks which is the fishing town below Richmond.
We feel so lucky to have landed on out feet so quickly, we're both working for startups which is exciting and live quite near to Downtown. Vancouver is great though, we feel right at home already!
Didn't manage to catch the race live but saw some highlights - great stuff!
