The White Chapel building is a refurbished office block in Whitechapel, east London. Phase 1 was completed in 2017 and Phase 2, which is 89,000 sq ft, will house the Fotografiska London Museum of Photography. This will open in the second half of this year. It is a short walk from the Whitechapel Gallery and also Wex Photo Video, the UK's largest camera shop which features a drone flight zone, a permanent photography gallery, theatre zone for live demos and an events space, alongside its retail area. Looks like exciting times for artists/photographers in east London.
