Art in the Park

Spotted these figures whilst walking along a towpath in east London.

Further investigation shows that the middle figure is of a Ledley King (born 1980) who grew up in the heart of east London and went on to play with Spurs and represent England at the World Cup.

The figure on the left is of Sylvia Pankhurst (1882 - 1960) a leading member of the suffragette movement, who worked tirelessly to improve living conditions in the East End.

The figure on the right is a towpath horse. Horses were essential to pull boats along the canal and bring trade and business to the area.
Interesting, must look out for those.
