Just an ugly cold drizzly day. Matches my mood. My cable box died the night before last so I spent ALL day yesterday waiting in the cable store and on the phone trying to resolve every stupid issue, had to go back to the store to get a new modem and router and you know that involves taking the old one out of the wires and dustbunnies then trying to get everything to sync. After a quick dinner and another phone call, the cable came on. Of course, the box is different so it is a whole new learning curve. Then this morning I decided to listen to music on Alexa...but had to pair that, along with my wifi extender. Arrgghh. Got it all up and running finally then took the dog on this bleak walk. Tomorrow will be a better day!
Three good things:
1. A friend brought me dinner last night in the midst of all this
2. Enough food for leftovers for lunch today
3. The fresh air and exercise did me good
I've said it many times on this site - I hate technology! (OK, actually, I love it when it works - hate it when it doesn't) Congrats to you for being able to get it going - I almost always need help and my internet has been spotty all weekend....ugh.....
Went through many of the same issues when we got a a new router last month. Had to reconnect everything electronic to it...printer, security camera, laptops, phones, iPad, three separate Amazon Echos, etc. It was a frustrating all day project. I was kind of stunned at how much I've grown to rely on all of this stuff.
