The whole family - two carloads, three generations, took a two hour trip to a place called Storm King, a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley, where visitors experience large-scale sculpture and site-specific commissions under open sky. We had no agenda other than being there together, we walked, we sat, we talked, we explored, led by my two five year old grandsons with the maps. In this picture they were resting and plotting.
Three good things:
1. Family time
2. Not sure they actually could read the maps, but we didn’t get lost.
3. Everyone was happy
