Living on the Rez. The indian reservations in the US are a rather sad sight. Poverty is rife and with all its myriad of problems that accompany it. Tires on the roof made no sense to me, but it looked better than the humongous mule deer carcass that I saw on another roof later that day.
It does look rather bleak.

Yep - heavy items hold the roof down - so sad to see our Native Americans living like this. Your photo captures the bleakness

You have really captured the feeling of what a reservation is like. And it is not just the remote ones, the ones in close to the major cities, at least in AZ, are like this too.
