Ya, they actually contemplated tearing it down and making another planned community, but the University of Arizona stepped up to the plate and saved it and they use it as a research facility.

I love the lines in this. We have the Eden project in Cornwall which has similar bio dome I didn't know another existed until you posted these shots.
