death valley by blueberry1222

death valley

I went to Death Valley about two years ago. I just sorted through all my images in search for something to submit to the Smithsonian Photo Contest. I didn't submit this one, but I do like it quite a bit, so will post it here for kicks and giggles.

added info: Ruins from an old borax mine. https://www.legendsofamerica.com/ca-ashfordmine/
It's situated 121 feet (37 meters) below sea level!

Great capture of layers. We've tried to go for the past few years but, Dumpster shut down the government one year, and then covid so I'm guessing that we will have to wait.
