ICM hollyhock B&W

I just learned this technique from seeing other people post on this site. I am so glad that I find everyone here so inspiring. I can now paint pictures with my camera. I didn't know that I could do that!
So, what is the technique?

@jkmccarron ICM stands for 'intentional camera movement.' What I did was set the exposure for 1 second and zoomed in as the exposure was running.

Ok, I have a friend in Mexico that uses this style on flowers and trees and had some great success. Use a tripod and lower lighting and you can get some really cool stuff. I will have to try this on some of my shots for 365. Thanks!

@jkmccarron thanx for the suggestions. I have a tripod but it's amazing how many times I just plain neglect to use it! I'll definitely give it a whirl.
