Feathered Sky

The temperatures have dropped markedly in the last couple of days and the clouds have that faint yellow-grey tinge that promises snow.

Went for a walk around Iris Brickfield, a little park at the bottom of the road. Not a place to inspire landscapes, but I loved the feathery look through some willow branches, trying to capture the sky before the sun would disappear again.

Beautiful shot! I like the feathery images in the foreground and the colors. We are having the same type of weather here. The clouds look like snow clouds here too. Winter weather is getting closer each day.
