Had a relaxing sunny day with my parents on the Tuesday visiting the Botanical Gardens in our home town. They are a lovely oasis and offer something interesting at any time of the year - and all of it for free. Got to play with my Dad's super shiny macro lens - and got to take it home with me until the summer to play with some more :-)
oh yea for macro! i just love playing with my macro lens.......you are going to have fun and I bet you will want one of your own by summer's end;)

This is gorgeous!! I was hoping my macro tube things would give me a feel for macro lenses but I can't get them to do anything like this. Is it a dandelion in the botanical gardens?!

@judithg Thanks :-) Shame about your macro tubes! Looked like a dandelion but was a tall upright plant if you know what I mean. But maybe that's what dandelions look like in the Canary Isles??
