Spent the morning chilling out with my friend in the hotel while storm clouds were looming outside and then headed for Macclesfield. Had a fascinating tour of a silk mill working museum and the designer's studio with lots of old original designs was a treasure trove. I still can't quite get my head around how someone could transpose these intricate designs into weaving patterns!
