Sometimes life overtakes us completely and only leaves white noise and blur in its wake.
Not even 4 weeks after my aunt's sudden death her son also died due to a sudden heart attack. It has left us all shell-shocked and bruised.
Sorry for the lengthy absence from posting and commenting - I am looking forward to getting back to it gradually. The daily routine still requires more effort and concentration than usual and lots of time in front of the laptop wasn't really helping. Thank you all for your lovely comments on my previous few shots - you are all wonderful!
You must be all in total shock! Love this shot - take photos for you if you want to don't give yourself any pressure about posting and commenting we will all still be here - big hug
Devastating news. Your shot is wonderfully reflective of how things all blur into one at times like these and you lose your perception of time and place. My thoughts are with you and all your family. Take care.
This shot is gorgeous. I like the whiteness. I am sorry to hear about your losses. Two close back to back deaths are difficult to deal with. My prayers are with you as you go through the healing process.
Thank you all so much for all your kind words and well wishes! It means a lot, you are a wonderful bunch of people! Thank you so much as well for the wonderful comments and the fav for this shot - we had a glorious day yesterday and for the first time in a while I felt very much at peace and inspired again to take some photographs and enjoy the sun.
So sorry to hear this :( It gives a new aspect to this photo which I love by the way. There is something serene about it. A fav :) How did you take this?
@tiina Thank you so much for the Fav! These daisies were growing on a slope so I could easily nestle between them. I overexposed it a lot on manual and had the focus on manual too. I tweaked the white balance afterwards in raw and increased the structure/detail slightly
This is a wonderful image and it really does convey so much.
