Travel misery

I hope wherever you are in the UK you have made it home safe and sound... It took me 4 1/2 hours and most of the Germany match :( to find a way around gridlocked and flooded streets...
Good grief that looks bad! Hope you've got no damage to your house.

A lot of my friends are Newcastle based, and their photos of yesterday were horrendous! Thankfully the rain seemed to have worn itself out by the time it got to Middlesbrough! Glad you got home (eventually)

Super image despite your travel problems. We had torrential rain for a while here in Stokesley (just 10 miles south of Middlesbrough) but not nearly as bad as Newcastle. Good to know your own home wasn't affected.

I was wondering how some of our northern 365 friends were doing during this horrendous storm. Everything seemed to have happened so quickly and today all that mess to clear up. You captured the feeling well here. I was so sorry to read your news about the losses in your family.....I hope you are finding some peace and healing.

Great shot to show the flooded conditions and your trip home. I hope everyone is safe and sound. It is hot and dry here with not a speck of rain on the horizon. Strange weather throughout the world.

Great shot of the floods. I wondered if anyone would post pictures of the devastation we saw on TV. We all feel sorry for those of you affected by it.
