This is what Newbiggin bay looks like on a sunny afternoon! I still have very mixed feelings about the Couple sculpture by Sean Henry...I don't like the platform on top of the breakwater at all, but it is actually part of the sculpture. Probably the first time I got a shot where I liked the two figures staring out into the blue distance!
It's quite poetic that they stand there in all weathers together (do they?) Love the scene generally, the sky is lovely and the specks of light on the water are great
Well it looks good from a distance and the blues are very calming. They seem to like this kind of art along the north east coast. They've got some strange creatures at South Shields - weebles or something. I quite like them.
