Crane Spotting

Had a wonderful first day at my sister's in Hamburg - my other sister arrived from Iceland the day before. Having a sisterly meet here until Saturday before we meet up with the parents for a week of crane spotting (of the bird variety!!). To get some practice in beforehand we used the full array of public transport Hamburg has to offer - including water buses/ferries - to explore the harbour and further downstream along the Elbe river. As you can see lots of cranes easily spotted :-)

ugh, those cranes. but at least these ones make for a good shot, the ones i see around us here are just eyesores if you want to photograph the buildings. very nice.
