Prerow is an old fishing village and wonderful seaside resort in East Germany on the Baltic Coast. Our very comfortable base for the week's holiday in October. Some of the old thatched-roofed captain's houses have traditional wooden doors with wonderful motives. All have a hidden meaning - and no one seemed to enlighten us what the symbols may actually mean!! We spent a lovely relaxed Sunday with my cousin and his family who live an hour's drive away from Prerow. As they couldn't make it to our annual family gathering in July we took the opportunity for a proper catch-up with them now.
Thank you all for the lovely comments on my cranespotters at sunrise and some of the backfill shots I've been posting the last couple of days! You may have gathered I am (again) seriously behind with posting and commenting and I truly appreciate you all still decide to pop in and comment as soon as I do!
