Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of shots of cranes in flight later...and finally I managed to get focus, light and motion! At least that's what I and my Dad think ;-) We both love that the crane on the bottom left is just coming into the shot...but you may disagree with this. Let me know what you think!
Final full day of our family holiday in October. My Dad and I spent at least two hours at sunrise watching the cranes leave their nightly resting places. Loved every minute of it! And finally the light was just right and we had found the right spot where they were flying right above us and some of them quite low :-) Phew, this panning and focussing thingymedooda isn't easy!!
@fueast Thanks! Lol, nooo seeing as I'm behind with postings and took quite a break November/December...no other excuse than working in the NHS and losing the mojo ;-)
@claireuk@filsie65 thanks you two! It's stunning but you also have to imagine hearing their calls the whole time too - quite a dawn chorus you can't sleep through!
