My eyes would have concentrated on those very unusual bricks! Or maybe next time try and capture it square on as it creates are more artistically pleasing image. I hope you don't mind my critique?
@marshwader I don't mind at all, rather I'm glad for your help. I was more focused on the contrasts. The beautiful brick fence and the neglected gate that has the newspaper in it. Anyway, I'll try another angle
