After years of family snapshots I returned to a more adventurous side of photography and in 2009 joined the Royal Photographic Society. I achieved a couple of RPS distinctions and found my home in its Visual Art Group which eventually gave me the honour of chairing it for a number of years. My own photographic interests lie in the texture and geometry of what surrounds us. This means that I tend to prefer the long end of the lens, with often abstract results that sometimes work better in groups. The 365 Project gives me an opportunity and the motivation to develop single images which up to now would not have held much day-to-day interest. In all of this serendipity remains my friend.
