I like to share this pictures as a tribute to my sister. although we have lived miles and miles apart for the last 55 years and have not seen each other in person that often..we have stayed in touch by visiting a few times and by telephone and later by e-mails exchanging pictures and what have you. but it was only recently that she moved back from Tuscon to Chicago where we could just jump into the car and go visiting. still a long way from Toronto to there. we took this picture last year when we got ready to go to Octoberfest. we had plans to go to Chicago again this fall. Thea passed away just before her Birthday which would have been this 25th of October .
picture was taken on Oct. 2, 2010
Some of you will see this picture for a second time that's because when I uploded it before I used the wrong date and it showed up in my ace album under October 2009
Such a shame you were miles apart but love covered that distance with ease by the way you express this tribute to your sister..my prayers and thoughts are with you ((hugs))
It's hard when family live so far apart. But it sounds as though you two kept in touch as best you could. So sorry that you couldn't get together one last time before she passed.....my thoughts go out to you and your family. Keep her memory close you you in your heart :)

You write so warmly about your sister - it is touching to read.
I have not any sister or brother but I have now a big family anyway - we have three adult children and six grandchildren.
All the best to you,Bruni!

What a sweet picture of you two, Bruni, and what a sad loss. It's a shame you didn't live closer by through the years, but that happens, and how good that you've been able to spend time together recently. No one knows when their last day is, so it's good you siezed the opportunity when you did. It's a reminder to everyone to spend time with those who matter most. Thinking of you...
This picture is a lovely portrait of you and your sister. I join with your other 365 friends in expressing my sympathy for your loss and my hope that you will find comfort in your memories and the time you spent together.
I am so very sorry for your loss. I have 2 sisters that I value more than anything or anyone in the world - and we, too, seldom see each other. It is a very special bond isn't it? My heart and my love goes out to you.
Oh, I'm so sorry to learn of your loss, Bruni. This is such a loving photo to share with us, and as others in our community have said above, I am thinking of you and sending in hugs to you and your family.
