I have this ugly shiny basket hanging around and can't make up my mind what to do with it....always think...it might come in handy some day. filled it up once with Christmas presents but when it was all done I hated what it looked like. I think I will put it in a closet where it can't be seen.
No, no, no -- don't put it away! You bought it and/or have kept it for so long - you really must like it. Easter/spring is coming - what about an easter table centerpiece? Fake grass, eggs, bunnies?? Maybe you could spray paint it and use it for mail? It doesn't look like Christmas to me - the swirls are more spring or summer! Maybe make a cloth liner for it and use it for hand soaps/towels in your guest bath? Don't give up on it yet - like I said - you must like it or you wouldn't have kept it so long. O.K. -- I am done now. . .
I'd spray it - probably black .... and then ... if that didn't work .... give it to a (what we call) junk shop! Charity shop maybe a better name.... somebody might like it for a fruit bowl or something..... Fun photograph....
You could put it on your bathroom counter for misc. stuff - then, when company is coming, it's easy to put all that stuff away.. just stash a basket and you're done!
garage sale! If you have tried it out, and dont like it.....dont hide it to collect dust. Somebody out there might want to buy it :-) One mans, err, womans trash, is another ones treasure!
If you look back a couple of months on Snowy's site you will see what she did with lights and a cork dish. I copied this using a basket I didn't know what to do with................. maybe??
