Family get together at my sons yesterday.we all had a real good time except for my grandson Grant who had just come home from university the night before and woke up with a terrible stomach pain..so he stayed in his room. couldn't keep anything down, no food or fluids, it got progressively worse..by 8 pm his parents drove him to the hospital..after 2 IV's and a shot of gravol and a stay until 3 am Bruce and Anne took him home again. when they called us we were happy to hear that he was feeling much better. I just felt so bad for him knowing how much he was looking forward to seeing his grandparents on both sides, aunt and uncle and cousins- in other words the whole family. from what Anne told me the nurses at the hospital said that they see this all the time..students having exams, little sleep, to much partying etc. it's all stress related..it takes too much out of them. anyway on our way home we saw these geese flying over towards the lake. since I only my pocket size camera with me... this is the best I could do.
What a grand, expansive shot you got with so many geese! That turned out well! So glad to hear your grandson is going to be fine... Stress can really do a number, and being home for the holiday will probably be the best medicine!
hi Bruni! I've read your comment on one of my photos and I appreciate it so much!!! I follow back most of the times not just an act of politeness but I wanna see the photos of my friends (followers) too! cos most likely, people in the same circle will influence each other! And for this photo, I really want to capture flying birds.. But I can't seem to find the right timing... you did a good job on here and i want to tell you that I am inspired by this.. will do a portrait soon with birds and will credit you for sure!!! Thanks again! Enjoy! and Take care! :)
I give you an A+ for capturing this wonderful sight on the wing, so to speak! So sorry for your grandson. That must have been scary for the whole family. I'm glad he is on the mend. At least young people have the inner reserves that enable them to bounce back.
Wonderful shot Bruni. I love this.
