CALL IT VINTAGE

I call it memories only by looking at this picture I realize that a baby at thisage is much to young for forming memories.
Mom me on her lap and my 7 year older sister.

--dedicated to my late sister Thea--.
A wonderful memory.

Yes Robin I'm very happy about that as this is the only baby picture of me. the next one was taken by a photographer many years later. unfortunately these are the only two I have of my early childhood..

This kind of photos are so great to have and look at.
I started to find out my old photos and saw, that I have some more than two :) I don`t know, who had a camera during the WWII but I am happy to have such photos, when my dad came for his break from a battlefront.
Thank you for your words on my site, Bruni!

@lehy You know something I never thought of the war and the hard times my parents had..more so that maybe we just didn't have a camera or my parents where not interested in pictures.
thank you Leena for your comment.

Sweet photo...and I am planning to post one today of my 3 yr old grandson and my almost 3 month old granddaughter...also want to thank you for asking about my dad. I am so sad to report that he has continued to regress...he is in diapers now and will never go home...in fact, he should be in a nursing home rather than the rehab center but we have found a loophole to keep him there for a few more weeks....I am so sad to think that just 2 and 1/2 months ago he was totally independent...as soon as school gets out for me (June 10) I will be making the 9 hr drive back to Buffalo one more time in order to give both my sister and brother a break for a couple weeks. They told us the operation (replacing the aortic valve) was a success ...but if it was, then what went wrong to cause him to be in the state he now is? Bruni, you are so thoughtful for asking and I guess I should not have gone into such detail here...but there is no other way for me to express my sadness and disappointment.. I suppose a miracle could happen but right now it does not appear likely.
