Oh wow- I was there way back in the 70's! One of my high school friends had a pen pal who lived in Ottawa. Her family owned a home in the Thousand Isalnds and she often invited me to come with her. On one trip we drove up to Ottawa so that she could meet her friend. I remember thinking this was such an extravagant government building, but quite beautiful. And I also remember that there was very little litter! Nice shot for the landmark thread!
