Usually you see snowmobiles pulling the fish huts off the lake but our local newspaper photographer snapped this picture of a couple doing it the hard way. fish huts have to be off the lake by March 15th and because we already had milder weather some people get them off sooner. there will be a heavy fine which gets added to your property taxes if you're late.. you see you have to purchase a license and the license number has to be visible on the hut.
We're back to cooler weather. this morning we have minus 14 degree Celcious which is roughly 8 Fahrenheit and next week the highest temp. predicted is 18 degrees Celcious..getting closer to Spring.....at last.
It's cooler here today too- and hubby is not paying attention to the fire so the house keeps going cold! I should join these folks- it would get my heart pumping and raise my temp a bit!
