Update on my problem..I think the acupunture I went for didn`t help much..I was in such pain afterwards and today I couldn`t bear sit down... so breakfast and lunch was in a standing position over the counter..went to the doctor for his opinion. the first think he said was it might be a pinched nerve, back problem..he wanted to make sure it`snot in my bones so he sent me for x-rays and a blood test which he needs for me to get an MRI. now comes the waiting game..how soon will I get a hospital appointment for it. I try to do with out painkiller during the day but at night I take one so I can sleep..... now on another note: after an early Spring this year when the buds were out the tree must have gotten a shock when it got colder again. we had night frost and I think that it killed the buds..poor magnolia tree. the last few years it was so beautiful and full of flowers and so far I think only two survived.
Ohh ... I feel for you, Bruni!! I know what you're going through as my husband has the same. He does use the pain pill during the day too and gets lots of rest. Hope you get it taken care of soon. Your two little buds are hanging in there ... reminds me of you and Hans right now. The weather ruined so many of our flowers this year too. Sad.
@grammyn Yes Katy I think that's what I'm dealing with. thank you for your comment..until I feel better I won't be able to spend much time on the computer but promise to make for it when I feel a bit better.
@karenann Thank you Karenann..it's so hard to stay away from 365. I know I shouldn't be sitting here so I promise I'll I make it up to all of you when I feel a bit better.
I'm sorry to hear you're in so much pain, Bruni. I hope the doctors are able to assess your situation quickly so you can be on the road to recovery. It's a shame that the cold killed off all the buds this year.
I hope you feel better. I am dealing with weird backache problems too for last month or so. Not fun.please take care. Love magnolias. Hopefully more will bloom.
Thanks for you brief letter, Don`t overrun yourself. Take you time to recover I`ve the seem in my yard . Lots of leafs and flowers has been frozen this year. Also the pear-and apple orchard are/have damaged
some of our ross had been frozen during this hard winter we had!and now we jumped from cold days directly to hot days,w had 32 deg celsius last weks!no spring at all
I do think of magnolia as a southern tree. I am surprised they have been hardy as far north as your home. Your physical ailment sounds very painful. I am hoping they can offer you some relief.
