@gerry Thank you Gerry.. the fire destroyed about 35 acres..they just let it burn out by itself and keeping the surroundings wet...no one was hurt.
vacation is A1 ok..only a few more days..Saturday I fly home to have the MRI the same afternoon.

It's an odd thing in nature that fires can actually help the forest. Sounds like they controlled this one pretty well even though 35 acres sounds like so much. It's amazing how quickly things can grow back. I think it was something like 5 years after Mt. Saint Helen errupted. And everyone thought that would take decades!
