Grace and I finally went to the beaches..that is The Beaches, Ontario..it's a little more than an hour drive towards Toronto. we love going there..when it's hot it's a nice place to walk either on the boardwalk which would in the sun or underneath the huge trees in the park
parallel to the boardwalk. we had a gret time people watching and I had lots of photo opps. on our way home we stopped at a Swiss Chalet..a Canadian-chain restaurant for casual dining. they are famous for their slow cooked rotisserie chicken.
Wonderful collage! I haven't spent a day at a beach for years ... this looks wonderful. We are planning a getaway later this summer and hope to see some scenery like this along the way. Your day with Grace sounded wonderful. So does the meal. :)
Like the collage. My eldest lives near here and the Leuty Lifeguard station featured in one of your pics above is a favourite photography point of mine.
@ellida it was not too easy to notice as I couldn't get any closer the picture any closer with my small ditigal Kodak camera but there was a couple posing for a wedding picture next to the Leuty lifequard station. I remember I think you have two sons and one lives here in Toronto.Thank you Graham for the visit and your comments are always appreciated.
sounds and looks like you had a fantastic day with your friend, Grace, Bruni. we have not been to a large beach like this for years, only to small lakes or ponds. i miss the ocean very much. was this salt water? your collage is wonderful!
What an interesting selection of shots Bruni! and lovely collage too! Love mum/daughter time. Spent the whole day sitting beside my Grace as she has a tummy bug! Will try to escape for a quick walk and see if I can get a shot!
