....a nice combination. our tenant asked if Hans could take him to a nearby eBay store, he had some merchandise to return. since Hans is still sick I offered to drive him. this place we went to is more like a warehouse but they had a few shelves with stuff on for sale...I got a brand new coffeemaker which was still in the origional box for 50 cents plus 7 cents tax. tried it out right away when I got home and it works. on our way home I opted for taking country roads..it took us a little longer but we both enjoyed the scenery..Tom rolled down the window when I stopped the car and started talking to the horses..this white one with the green cover walked across the paddock and stopped right in front of the picture I was going for. but now that I see it uploaded I like him/her in there looking at us.
@foxinsox47 Like I said Jim..it was like a warehouse where you can pick up what you bought over the internet. so in other words instead of paying for the shipping you go and pick it up..they sold odds and ends as well. and don't forget this is in Toronto, Canada..don't know if you have outlets where you can go and get your order.
We have always wondered what the deal is with "an EBAY store." Is it where they house things they are also selling on EBAY? Do you leave your items and they EBAY them and give you a cut? ANyway, sounds like you got a great deal! Congrats! And congrats on this great pic too! I love the snowy farm scene!
@espyetta MaryBeth I'm not very familiar with buying or selling on ebay..our tenant has a lot of action figures and stuff he's been buying and re-selling. so he knows more about it. he had bit on a $160.00 jacket with hood and got it for $6.50..Hans took him to the store where he picked it up. when Tom (the tenant) got home he noticed the hood was missing and it was the wrong size too.. so because Hans is sick with the flu I offered to drive Tom. it was like a warehouse in an industrial section of Toronto. there wasn't a sign on the building saying ebay..so it looks like ebay is just sending stuff there for pick up..where the odds and ends came from that they are also selling I don't know..but the coffeemachine works ..so now I've a spare one..for that little bit of pocket change I couldn't resist buying it.
What a great shot! I love how horses look right at you. I make noises and make them perk up to look. They are way different than deer which run away if you make a noise! Well done, Bruni! The sky is a brilliant blue! :)
